I promise I haven't disappeared again LOL. It's that time of year where it seems I am constantly on the go and NEVER have time for anything. Plus I have been sick going on 3 weeks now, I am thinking bronchitis, I get it every year around this time.

I was accepted on Lynnie Smith's Creative Team at Youniquephotos.com and am so excited to be part of her team, I absolutely love her work!!! I had also applied to be a contributing artist for Digital Artist Magazine, as I am sure MILLIONS of people did also, I didn't make it, but am not surprised LOL. RAKabration was crazy, but as usual so much fun!! Although I wish I had have had more time to participate in everything.

I have been scrapping like a mad woman lately, making up for lost time I suppose, but it feels good to be back at it. For a while I was ina major slump and thought I had lost my creative touch from my little 2 month break, but it is all coming back to me LOL. Here are a few favorite pages I have done recently.

I am working on a new kit for you all, I hope to have it posted by the end of the weekend, but definitely before Thanksgiving.

I went out and got Benji's halloween costume and when we got home I just HAD to try it on him, he looked adorable but as you can see by these pictures, HE was less than thrilled LOL

So I made a mini kit that I could use to scrap our halloween pictures, and I was going to wait until tomorrow to post it, but I have to go back to work tomorrow, so I don't know if I will have time. That means you get the next freebie a day early LOL.

It is just a small one (9 papers, a ribbon and a flower), but here is the preview:

Just some ramblings.....

Here's the deal..... DH and I have been together for 7 years, and he has NEVER been able to remember exactly what day my birthday is on, so he has ALWAYS given my gift a week or 2 before hand so he is "safe" LOL.... Well my b-day is now in 2 days, and he has not done or said anything. I am betting he totally forgot!!!!! I could care less if he buys a gift, actually I would rather he didn't since we are broke at the moment, BUT I will care if he doesn't even acknowledge it and at least say "Happy B-day", or "Hey, you sleep in, I'll get up with Benji"

Anyway LOL, I have been off work for 2 days now (today being the second day) my daycare providers son has pneumonia (sp?) and has had to go in daily for 3 days now to get breathing treatments. Poor guy is only a year old. Thankfully at my new job, my boss understands these things and has no problems with it, but of course I still feel bad for not being there, especially since he is leaving town on Nov 1 and won't be back until the 19th!!! (he ones his own business and it is just him and I)

One the scrapping side of things, I have been TRYING to do some sort of AAM Layout, and just can't seem to come up with ANYTHING I like, I am sooooo bad at scrapping myself LOL. I think it is time to do some searching of galleries for inspiration!!!

Exciting news (for me anyway LOL), today I was invited to come back to the RAKscraps CT, I of course said yes!!!! I was sooooo upset when I had to leave the team a year ago, and feel so happy and totally honored to have been invited back!!!!!

Thank you so much Jeanine, Rachel, Robin and Correen!!!! I love you all!!!!! (even with all the whipping!!!).

This really is the best Birthday present I could have asked for!!!! (My b-day isn't even until Friday LOL)

I'm back!!!!! (did ya miss me?? LOL)

Now that I have recovered from all the issues I had, problems loading photoshop onto my laptop, a hard drive crash and lord only knows what else, I am FINALLY getting back in the swing of things!!!

I won't have time to keep up with the download a day thing, but I will be posting freebies often, so keep checking back in case I forgot to post about it in the forums!!!

Unfortunately, the last kit I was giving out got lost in my hard drive crash (along with all my other kits, 2 years of photos, about a million kits I had bought etc, etc..), so I am not able to give you all the rest of it. But to make up for it, here is a little fall kit I just finished. I hope you all can get some good use out of it. I am sooooooo sorry to make anyone worry. That was not my intention, I hava had MAJOR real life crap to deal with, and had to remove myself the computer almost completely.

But after my WONDERFUL friend Tina let me know how concerned people were after sending the police to my house to check on my and almost give my husband a coronary, I decided I should probably check in LOL.

I still have every intention of doing this blog and will post the rest of the last kit when I get a chance. But I have just started a new job and it is taking ALOT of my time the last few days, so I am not sure when I can get to it, but I PROMISE I will.

Again I am sooooooo sorry for worrying people. I just had to do what I needed to do.

I know I said I don't post stuff on weekends, but I was FINALLY able to get hubby out of the house, so I am taking advantage of it. Hopefully next week he will be back to work, I love him dearly, but 24/7 for 2 weeks is about to drive me crazy, I can't get anything done LOL.

WOW!!!! Thanks so much for all the wonderful comments!!!! I am so glad someone mentioned to me that I could change my settings!!!! I feel the love LOL.

Ok, another AI post. Obviously you know Chris was by far my favorite (I made a CD of all his AI performances and have been listening to itand his bands CD almost daily, I think my hubby is starting to get jealous of my obsession LMAO), but since he is sadly out of the running, and the final 2 are down to Kat and Taylor, who do you think/hope will win now? I am pulling for Taylor, I would love to see him win. I have really liked him from the beginning, I love his passion for the music. He may be spastic and silly, but he has a good voice and is very entertaining. I honestly dont care for Kat, but that is all I will say about that LOL. So, what are your thoughts?

Sorry I have been MIA the past few days, you know how it is, that pesky thing called life got in the way LOL.

I have to do something before I get on with the new downloads. Anyone that knows me, knows I have always been majorly addicted to American Idol, and for those of you that have watched this season, can probably relate to my shock of Chris Daughtry being voted off. I am still in shock!!!!! BUT, he is going to be HUGE, we all know it LOL

Today is my baby's 2nd birthday!!! I can't believe he is 2 years old already, it seems like just yesterday we were bringing him home. Tomorrow is his party, so this is going to be a crazy weekend!!!!

I am sooooo excited!!!! I have been in a MAJOR scrapping slump for MONTHS, I finally got a page done recently and it actually won an award!!!! This is a GREAT new site so if you haven't checked it out, please do so!!! Willie gives random prizes for layouts and digital photography, they also offer some AMAZING heirloom products. Spring Breeze Scrapbooking Freebie

So sorry I have been MIA, things have been crazy since we got back from vacation. We had a great time though, the weather was beautiful, we spent lots of time on the beach, and I actually got some sun!!!! Now I get to spend my days looking for a job (blech!!).

It is supposed to be in the mid 70's here today and only 2 more days until we leave for the beach, I can't wait!!!!! The best thing is it is a FREE vacation (well, the beach house we got for the week is free). 2 more downloads left for the Serenity Now paper pak. I will be posting a preview tomorrow of the free paper pak that will be available after I get back from the beach (April 25), just to tease y'all a bit!!!!

Scrapbooking Freebies!!!!!!

Who doesn't love free stuff??? I have decided to do this blog to share my scrapbook creations. I will be creating 1 kit a month, and posting bits and pieces on a daily basis, come back every day and at the end of the month you will have the whole kit. At the beginning of the next month, links to the previous months kits will no longer be active, so make sure you get everything while it is available!!!!

Now, April is going to work just a little different. I am going to be on vacation from April 14 - April 24, so I am going to offer 2 different paper paks for April.
